Frances DiMarino

Lowellville - Frances DiMarino, 78 of West Wood St, died Friday, April 10, 2009 St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. Miss. DiMarino was born April 25, 1930 in Mt. Vernon, New York, a daughter of Gaetano and Minnie Ambrosia DiMarino. She was a 1949 graduate of Lowellville High School, and was a member of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. Miss DiMarino worked for Haber Furniture in Youngstown, for over 30 years in the office, till its closing in the 1980's. She then went to work for the St Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown working at the Information desk for 15 years. She was a member of the Ladies of the Mt. Carmel Society, and the Lowellville Senior Citizens. She is survived by her sister, Rita (Kenneth) Ferlan of Bessemer, and a brother Richard (Jean) DiMarino of Austintown, OH. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Elisena Marie DiMarino, and two brothers, Guy DiMarino and Rocco DiMarino . Family and friends will be received Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville, and Tuesday from 9:00 - 9:45 am where prayer services will be held Tuesday at 10:00am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, with Fr. G. David Weikart officiating.
