Boardman - Frances M. Adams, of Boardman, formerly of New Middletown, died October 24, 2013 at Beeghly Oaks Nursing Home.
Mrs. Adams was born February 14, 1916 in Poland, a daughter of Sam and Myrtle Peacock McCoy.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Poland United Methodist Church.
Her husband, James W. Adams, whom she married July 29, 1937, died April 16, 1978.
She is survived by one son, William (Marlene) Adams of Warren; three grandchildren, Loretta (James) Smerchansky of Virginia, Gina Woods of Hamlet, NC, and William James (Desiree) Adams of Vienna; and three great-grandchildren, Madeline, Jake, and Luke Smerchansky.
Services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Sunday from 2-4PM and Monday from 10-10:45AM at the funeral home.
The family requests all gifts take the form of donations to Akron Children's Hospital.
