Floyd L. Butch Chapman, 61 Campbell- Floyd L. Chapman, 61, of 235 Gordon Ave., died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Chapman also known as Butch, was born August 3, 1943 in Springfield, Ohio, a son of James and Rachel Garrett Chapman. He lived in Dubois, Pennsylvania before moving to Campbell 5 years ago. Mr. Chapman was employed by Savon Remodeling in Boardman, specializing in roofing, siding and windows. An Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Chapman served from 1962 until 1967. He was a member of the Masury VFW Post #8860 and the Bellwick Lanes bowling league. Besides his wife the former, Effie Hughes whom he married February 11, 1995, he is survived by his stepdaughter, Frances Evelyn (Ralph) Searle of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Nancy Sherwood and Darlene Sherwood, both of Penfield, Pennsylvania, Caran Gore of Panama City, Florida and Terry Sherwood of Montrose, Colorado; two brothers, James Chapman II of Transfer, Pennsylvania and Rodney Chapman of Sykesville, Pennsylvania and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, 1:30 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers where friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
