Florence Clara Trickett

North Lima - Florence Clara Trickett, 87, of Assumption Village in North Lima, died Tuesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Florence was born February 22, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Ellen Anderson Payne. She resided in Youngstown until moving to Meadowbrook in Boardman in 1980 and to Assumption Village in 2011.
A 1943 graduate of South High School, Florence worked in the stock room of McKelveys Department Store in downtown Youngstown for 28 years, retiring in 1973. She was an active member of Heritage Presbyterian Church in Poland and was also active and met regularly with her high school reunion committee. Florence especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Her husband William Miller Trickett, whom she married December 21,1963 died July 4, 2000; Florence leaves one sister, Gladys (Arthur) Aaron of Poland; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Florence was preceded in death by one brother, William Robert Payne; and one sister, Thelma Fisher.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
Friends will be received Friday from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
