Florence N. Rich

Hillsville - Florence N. Rich, 89 of Hillsville, died Friday, November 14, 2008 peacefully, of natural causes in Clare Bridge of Austintown. Mrs. Rich was born Tuesday, April 29, 1919 in Hillsville, a daughter of the late Louis & Angelica Yeropoli Polito. She was a homemaker, and a lifelong a member of the St. Lawrence Church, Christ the King Parish, of Hillsville. She devoted her life to her family and her church, and will be sadly missed. Her husband, Joseph J. Rich, whom she was married to for 67 years, died November 26, 2006. She is survived by one sister, Theresa Zappia of Struthers, one brother, Tony (Connie) Polito of Struthers, one sister-in-law, Mary Polito of Boardman, numerous nieces, nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Nick Polito, of Boardman. Friends will be received 5-7 P.M., Tuesday, November 18 at the at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Funeral services will be held at St. Lawrence Church, Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 10:30 am with Rev. James Downs officiating. Everyone please meet at church.
