Florence Luginbill

Florence H. Luginbill, 91, passed away December 22, 2017 at the Woodlands in Poland.

Mrs. Luginbill was born January 26, 1926 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Mary Liptak Gombida.

She was a East High School graduate in the June 1943 class. Florence went on to attend Youngstown College. She was an administrative assistant for Home Savings and Loan and Allied Chemical. She was a member Butler Art Institute and Poland Township Historical Society. Florence was secretary of the P. Buckley Essence of Moss. She was a past member of Holy Family Church for 30 years and was currently a member at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown, where she served in the Altar Guild.

Florence truly loved spending time with her family.

Her husband, Robert A. Luginbill ,whom she married Nov. 23, 1946, died Sept. 12, 2012.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Tim) Wagner of Poland; two grandchildren, Todd R. Wagner of Rochester Hills, MI and Kristian T. (Jenn) Wagner of Lewis Center, OH; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Tyson Wagner; and a niece, Sandra Haylett of Boardman.

Besides her parents and husband, Florence was preceded in death by siblings, Edward, Elmer, and Theresa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, with Fr. Larry Frient officiating. Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday from 10-10:45AM at the church.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Arthur Duran and Mr. Greg Sprouse.

Arrangements are being handled by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
