Florence Morris Knodle, 85 Poland- Florence Morris Knodle, 85, of Sunrise Assisted Living, formerly of 7394 Oak Drive., died Tuesday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Knodle was born June 17, 1916 in Youngstown, a daughter of Benjamin and Emma Rudolph Morris. She came to the Poland area in 1950. She was a homemaker and in the 1940âa�a��s, worked and modeled for the womenâa�a��s sportswear fashion department of G.M. McKelveyâa�a��s Department Store in Youngstown. She was a graduate of South High School, a former member of, the Central Christian Church, the Womenâa�a��s Auxiliary of the Mahoning County Bar Association, Tippecanoe Country Club, Youngstown Country Club and Friends of The Butler Institute of American Art. Her husband, Carl E. Knodle, former President and Chairman of the Board of 1st Federal Savings and Loan of Youngstown, whom she married April 18, 1948, died March 13, 1973. She leaves one daughter, Carla Knodle Floyd of Poland and Topsail Island, North Carolina and three grandchildren, Christopher, Randall and Lindsay Bryant. One sister Vera Stuhldreher and three brothers Vernon, Earl and Donald Morris preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be Friday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
