Prayer services will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery for Flora Elizabeth Weber. She passed away Tuesday night at Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. Weber was born June 6, 1926 in Youngstown, a daughter of Luco and Margaret (Cafaro) Bell. She was a graduate of East High School where she met and fell in love with her future husband, William Weber. They were married July 24, 1947 for 56 years until Bill's death April 19, 2004. Caring for her family was Flora's number one concern.
In her earlier days, Flora loved to go bowling and was on a team with friends. She was known as an avid and expert Scrabble player. She enjoyed playing Keno and an annual trip to Las Vegas. She also hosted a Sunday card game with her family.
She is survived by two sons, William and his wife Sonia Weber of McHenry, Il, James Weber of Youngstown, two daughters, Janice and her husband Mourice Nemri of Homer Glen, Marilyn Weber of Nashville. Two grandchildren, Jose and his wife Deisy and Elizabeth and a great grandson Danny. Also a brother, Anthony Bell of Stow, sisters in law, Sandy Bell and Helen Leonard and many nieces and nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents are a brother Frank Bell, two sisters Theresa Bernard and Antoinette Jakovina and a sister in law Bertha Bell.
Friends may call Friday from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30-10:20 a.m. at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
