Faye Worrel

Faye Worrel, 77 YOUNGSTOWN- Faye Worrel, 77, of 2025 Lynn Avenue, died Sunday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. She was born in Struthers July 14, 1926, a daughter of Charles and Cloyd Emery Rosenberger. Mrs. Worrel worked at Red Barn Restaurants for many years with her husband and sons. She enjoyed knitting and reading. Her husband, Robert Homer Worrel, whom she married July 14, 1945, died September 17, 1989. She leaves three sons, Robert (Dotty) Worrel of Concord, NC, David Worrel of Youngstown, and Marty (Carolyn) Worrel of Cortland; one sister, Norma Schell of Struthers; four grandchildren, Robert Worrel III, Michelle Barnette, David Gallagher, and Brian Gallagher; and four great-grandchildren, Anthony Worrel, Samantha Worrel, Kayla Barnette, and Jeremy Barnette. She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Elgin; and five brothers, Ralph, Charles, Roy, Donald, and Freddie Rosenberger. Funeral services will be Thursday 2 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Wednesday 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
