F. Marian Gueldner
August 31, 1919 — April 23, 2015
Boardman- F. Marian Gueldner, 95, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Shepherd of the Valley, following an extended illness. She was born in Youngstown on August 31, 1919 to the late, Samuel J. and Mae Vaughn Thomas and was a graduate of Youngstown South High School.
Marian was a lifelong active member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church where she was involved in many organizations. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son and daughter-in-law, William and Betsy Gueldner of Canfield; grandchildren, Stacy (William) Witt of Grafton, OH and Stephanie Timms of Canfield; two great granddaughters, Meghan Witt and Zoe Timms.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Lloyd Gueldner on March 23, 2005.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00pm in the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. Boardman, with the Rev. Peter Del Nagro officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Friends and family may call prior to the service from 1:00-1:45pm on Tuesday in the funeral home.
The family requests that any gifts take the form of donations to Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, 3919 Southern Blvd. Boardman, OH 44512 or to Shepherd of the Valley, 301 Western Reserve Rd. Poland, OH 44514.
The family would like to invite those in attendance to join them, following services, for a luncheon at the Becker Family Center, located in the plaza next to the funeral home, behind Wild Flower Cove.
