Evelyn Thomas, 81 Struthers - Evelyn Thomas, 81, of 64 Grandview Street died Saturday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH. Mrs.Thomas was born July 9, 1921 in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, a daughter of John and Luthora Reese Stimer. She came to this area in 1950 and was a Homemaker. Her husband Charles William Thomas whom she married November 29, 1942 died August 17, 1980. She leaves two sons, Larry Thomas of New Middletown and Byron (Virginia) Thomas of Struthers; three sisters, Elaine Woleshagle of Tyron, Pennsylvania, Dorothy (Jack) Pearce of Northwood, Pennsylvania and Madaline (Bill) Simpson of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother to Diane (Daniel) Wilkos, Sheri (Thomas) Noble, Kathy (David) Fait, Dale (Heather) Thomas and Gary Thomas and nine great-grandchildren. Three Brothers, Chet ,Roy, and Edwin Stimer and two sisters, Pansey Witherite and Garnett Beckwith preceded her in death. Private Services will be Tuesday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home.
