Evelyn L. Stemlock

Evelyn L. Stemlock 82 Boardman âa�" Evelyn L. Stemlock, 82, of 5285 Pinetree Lane died Tuesday evening at Northside Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Stemlock was born July 5, 1920 in Lowellville, a daughter of the late Karl and Laura Mentzer Smith. She grew up and attended school in Lowellville and has been a life long area resident. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working around the house. Besides her husband, John Stemlock, whom she married February 8, 1947 and who died February 10, 1974 she is survived by a daughter Laura Stevens of Boardman and a grandson Evan Stevens of Austintown. She is preceded in death by four sisters, Irene Smith, Bernice Olson, Carrie Seamans and Margaret Namie and four brothers, Robert, James, Russell and William Smith. There will be no services or calling hours observed. Donations may be made in Mrs. Stemlockâa�a��s honor to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are being handled by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
