Evelyn D. Lyons

Evelyn D. Lyons, 70 Lowellville- Evelyn D. Lyons, 70, of 726 East Wood St., formerly of New Castle died Wednesday at her home after an extended illness. She was born March 13, 1932, in Mineral Ridge, a daughter of the late Fred and Anna Louise Shaw Bundrant. She grew up and attended school in Mineral Ridge, before moving to New Castle and then finally to Lowellville. Mrs. Lyons worked as a waitress in the New Castle area for many years at P&O Lunch the Hudson Lunch and at Baileyâa�a��s Restaurant. She was a lover of animals, keeping many cats and birds as pets. Besides her husband James Lyons, whom she married in 1952, she is survived by a daughter: Luann (Joe) Cartwright of New Castle; 2 sons Larry Lyons of Dallas, TX and Robert Lyons of New Castle, 1 brother: Fred F. Bundrant of Waynesboro, TN; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son James; 1 sister: Anna Mae Losser and 1 brother: Don Bundrant. There will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville.
