Evelyn Mae Huffman

Poland - Evelyn Mae Huffman, 77, of Poland, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman. Mrs. Huffman was born November 7, 1930 in Bedford, PA, a daughter of Earl Raymond and Martha May (Imler) Tiday. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, William C. Huffman; two daughters, Rita Mae (Tony) Kulisz of Austintown and Dianne Lynne Huffman of Poland; one son, Ronald Archie (Elayne) Prater of Canfield; four grandchildren, Nora (Shane) Hopkins of Cleburne, TX, Ronald (Renee) Prater of Boardman, Ryan (Tammi) Prater of McKinney, TX, and Richard Prater of Youngstown; and nine great-grandchildren. Evelyn took great pleasure in preparing culinary delights for everyone to enjoy. She had a love of books and an extensive library collection. Among many activities, Gardening and flowers (orchids) were her favorite and a delight for her. Evelyn was a member and involved through many affiliations through the years. Her most treasured possessions were her children. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Poland Riverside Cemetery, 111 Riverside Drive, Poland, Ohio.
