Evelyn M. Anthonsen

Evelyn M. Anthonsen, 81 Boardman-Evelyn M. Anthonsen, 81 of Shepherd of the Valley formerly of Youngstown died Thursday morning at the nursing home. Evelyn was born April 16, 1925 in Lowellville, a daughter of Ed and Irene Brownlee Anthonsen. She lived in Youngstown all of her life and after retirement resided in Bradenton, Florida. She was a graduate of The Rayen School and attended George Washington University. Evelyn owned and operated Jensen Interior Decorators. She had also worked for Strouss Department Store, Ethan Allen and was a fingerprint expert for the F.B.I. She was a former member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She leaves several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn Opperman, and two brothers, Edward and William Anthonsen. Memorial services will be Saturday, February 3, 1:30 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Saturday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
