Struthers - Eva Marie Reves, 80, of Struthers, died June 3, 2009.
Mrs. Reves was born July 21, 1928 in Farrell, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Rade and Pauline Millich Jankovich.
She was a 1946 graduate of Farrell High School. Prior to her marriage, she worked for the Sharon Store in Sharon, Pa.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers and the SNF Serbian Lodge. Mrs. Reves took great pride in taking care of her house and her family. She was also an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan and enjoyed rooting them on as she watched them on television.
She leaves her husband, John Reves, whom he married May 10, 1952; her daughter, Donna Lynn Reves of Struthers; her son, David Reves of Mount Laurel, NJ; a sister, Catherine Jankovich of Hermitage, PA; a brother, Sam (Rose) Jankovich of Farrell, PA; a nephew, Dr. Peter (Connie) Jankovich Jr. of Mercer, PA; a great-nephew, Jeffrey Jankovich of Arlington, VA; and a great-niece, Allison Jankovich of Springfield, VA.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Jankovich Sr. and his wife, Alice Jankovich.
Funeral services will be held at Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland and 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Mrs. Reves' name to the Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514.
