Eugene Robert Kidd

Eugene Robert Kidd, 65 Struthers- Eugene Robert Kidd, 65, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday evening at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Kidd was born in Youngstown December 26, 1939, a son of Eugene Harry and Frances Rose Kezele Kidd. He worked as a steelworker at Youngstown Sheet and Tube (LTV) for 44 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Word of Grace Church, and loved reading his bible a nd hunting. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. Eugene loved the Lord and the church; he was a devoted father, a loving and committed husband; and loved his grandchildren with all his heart and soul. He leaves his wife, the former JoAnn Gonda, whom he married June 2, 1962; a son, Robert Kidd of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; a daughter, Lisa Jean (Robert) White of Struthers; two sisters, Frances Kidd of Youngstown and Dolores (Sam) Cappelli of Boardman; two brothers, John (Ceil) Kidd of Canfield and Kenneth (Dolores) Kidd of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren, Kody, Logan, Mayson, Spensyar, Sawyar, Chaiys, Landyn, Gydiyn, Faiyth, and Zandyr. His granddaughter Krista Liann was waiting at the gate to bring him in with open arms. Funeral services will be Saturday 11AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
