Eugene L. Fitch, 84 Fruitland, FL- Eugene L. Fitch,84, died earlier this week at his residence. Mr. Fitch was born in Youngstown, OH, the son of Richard and Mable Fitch. He graduated from Struthers High School where he played football. He was an engineer on the P. and L.E. railroad, as well as a rural mail carrier for many years. He was a long time member of the Lowellville Christian Church. He was also veteran of WW II having served in the Army in the Pacific. He leaves his son, Eugene of Poland, OH; three daughters Cheryl (Steve) Zappia of Lowellville, with whom he made his home while in town; Bonnie Agostinelli of Hubbard, Beverly (Gary) Kale of Magnolia,OH;two brothers, Rev. Owen (Grace) Fitch of Lowellville and Rev. Richard Fitch of Columbus; two sisters; Janet Richlie of Wisconsin and Jaunita Douglas of Chattanoga,TN; grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Stella (Nolder) Fitch, whom he married Oct. 12, 1974, died July 25, 1982;two sisters, Shirley Ann Feren and Twyla Goehring.
