Ethel Virginia Rogers, 81 Struthers- Ethel Virginia Rogers, 81, of 123 Smithfield Street died at her residence Wednesday. Mrs. Rogers was born March 12, 1924 in Keyser, West Virginia a daughter of Ernest and Mabel Codner Liller. She came to Struthers in 1927. She was a 1942 graduate of Struthers High School and was a clerk for McCoryâa�a��s, and then a telephone operator for Ohio Bell for two years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Rogers was a former member of the Struthers United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge. Her husband Glen whom she married May 26, 1946 died April 9, 1995. She leaves one daughter, Janet (William) Egan of Canfield; two sons, Donald (Amy) Rogers of Brookfield and Jack (Rosanne Volk) Rogers of Grove City, Ohio; three grandchildren, Carrie Rogers, Adam Rogers, Caitlin Egan and one great-granddaughter, Kathryn Rogers. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Rogers, and two sisters, Alma Andre and Mary Taylor. A committal service is scheduled for Saturday, 1:00 PM at Lake Park Cemetery Chapel. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent at
