Ethel M. Kundus

Ethel M. Kundus, 76 Poland- Ethel M. Kundus, 76, died Saturday evening at her residence. Mrs. Kundus was born in Youngstown, November 16, 1927, a daughter of George and Mary Jakubec Kmetz. She was a 1945 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a Legal Secretary for the DeBartlo Corporation for over 20 years, retiring in 1994. Ethel was a past member of the Professional Secretaryâa�a��s Association. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland, where she was involved in the Sewing Circle and taught Sunday School. Her husband, Edward J., whom she married July 4, 1959, died February 24, 2000. She leaves a son, Mark. E. Kundus and his wife Ginger Goubeaux of Kettering, OH; a brother, George Kmetz and his wife Ruth of Poland, and two grandchildren, Miranda and Jacob. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Oliver. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and Wednesday one hour prior at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice of the Valley or Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
