BOARDMAN - Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 4996 Market St. in Boardman, for Esther E. Kennedy, 83. She passed away Wednesday morning at Hospice House.
Mrs. Kennedy was born April 16, 1927, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Dorothy Dewey Brunswick.
Upon graduation from high school, she had worked at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. When returning to the area, she had worked for Youngstown Sheet & Tube, retiring as the Head of Stenography Department.
She was a member of the Boardman United Methodist Church and the Friday Friends social club of North Jackson.
Her husband, Howard T. Kennedy, whom she married April 2, 1960, died in March of 1994.
Surviving her are two brothers, Charles (Betty J.) Brunswick and David (Joyce McFall) Brunswick, both of Youngstown and a sister-in-law, Barbara Brunswick of Marquette, Mich.
Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents was a brother, Donald Brunswick.
Friends may call Monday from 10 to 10:50 a.m. at the funeral home.
