Esther Louise Kaneski, 73 Lowellville- Esther Louise Kaneski, 73, of 6572 Lowellville Road, died suddenly Thursday afternoon in Medina after a long illness Mrs. Kaneski was born July 24, 1931 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a son of James and Elizabeth Pearl Hines. For the past 45 years, Esther established her residence in Lowellville. Mrs. Kaneski was a graduate of Shenango High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland and a long-time member of the Mahoning Sportsmen Club. In her spare time she enjoyed refurbishing dolls and toys and donating them to less fortunate families She is survived by her husband, Harry Kaneski whom she married June 10, 1950; one daughter, Barbara (Ascanio) Sferra of Boardman; two sons, James (Holly) Kaneski of Poland and John (Kelly) Kaneski of Oxnard, California; one sister, Ellen Parish of New Castle and four grandchildren Michelle (Frank) Gilboy of Beechwood, Lisa (T.J.) Assion of Boardman, Daniel Rose and James Kaneski both of Boardman. Besides her parents, one sister Janice Hines and one brother, Kenneth Hines preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland. Friends may call Sunday, from 4-7 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at the church. Condolences may be sent at www.beckerobits.com .
