Esther Juanita (Nita) Bell Holloway

Esther Juanita (Nita) Bell Holloway, 91 Poland-Esther Juanita Holloway, 91, died Saturday evening at Sunrise Assisted Living. Mrs. Holloway was born in Franklin, PA March 14, 1914, a daughter of Harley Lee and Estella Mae Carringer Bell. She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School in Franklin, PA. She studied cosmetology in Youngstown and worked in several beauty shops in the area. After marriage, she and her husband lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan and Mansfield, Ohio before returning to Youngstown. She was the office manager at Holloway Optical in the Wick Building for 35 years. She was a member of the Bethel Friends Church, an avid bridge player, and bowled in several leagues. She enjoyed gardening, baking pies, and sewing. She leaves her husband, Duane Randall, whom she married June 1, 1938; a daughter Susan Holloway of Poland; three great nieces and nephews and ten great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Martin Bell, and a sister, Helen Mae Bell-Rehner. Funeral services will be Thursday 10AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home Poland. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8PM and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
