Youngstown - Estelle Jean Fandozzi, 73 of Youngstown, died Thursday March 17, 2011 at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends.
Jean was born October 6, 1937 in Walnut Creek, PA, a daughter of James and Mary DuLuria Fandozzi.
She was a 1955 graduate of Struthers High School. Jean worked as a clerk for Reynolds and Bookout, Armbrecht Motor Truck Sales, Inc and she retired from Giant Eagle in Cornersburg in 2003. Jean loved movies, especially biographies. She was an animal lover and enjoyed bowling. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The Fandozzi family would like to especially like to thank Charlene Cole, Shirley Wood, and Annie Omran, for all of their love and care given to Estelle.
Jean is survived by her brother Kenneth (Sue) Fandozzi of Youngstown; a dear friend, Lynda Armbrecht of Boardman, a nephew - Kenneth (Chrissy) Fandozzi of Youngstown; a great-nephew Vincent Fandozzi of Youngstown; a great-niece Rachael Fandozzi of Youngstown; two step-sisters Marion Marker and Shirley Shidemantle both of New Castle, and a step-brother James Fandozzi of Warren; .
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, James Fandozzi, one step-brother, Elmo "Mickey" Fandozzi, and three step-sisters, Mildred Clements, Ruth Grimm, and Dorothy Kordish.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service, will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at the Christ Lutheran Church, 250 Sexton Street in Struthers. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
