Ernest H. "Ernie" Donahey

YOUNGSTOWN - Ernest H. Donahey "Ernie", 75, had his homecoming where went home to be with his Lord, February 7, 2015 with his family by his side.
Ernie was born on February 8, 1939 in Morgantown, WV, a son of Kenneth and Josephine (Piccinotti) Donahey. He was raised in Uniontown, PA.
On December 24, 1958, he married his high school sweetheart. In 1960 he and his wife moved to Youngstown.
He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. Ernie was employed at General Motors local 1112 for 30 years, where he retired in 1998.
Ernie loved fishing and helping others and enjoyed fixing things. He also loved animals and caring for them.
He enjoyed nature and loved spending time with family and close friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny ( McIntyre); his daughters, Kathie Bossick and Scarlette Donahey both of Struthers, and Laurie Donahey of Youngstown; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and one niece Atty. Teresa Goldberg of Brooklyn, NY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara Goldberg.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11AM at Trinity Fellowship Church in Boardman, with Pastor A.J. Platt officiating, where friends and family will be received one hour prior.
Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
