Erica Centofante Smith âa�" 58 STRUTHERS âa�" Erica Centofante Smith, age 58 of Wilson St., died Friday evening at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born June 1, 1949 in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Stephanie Dunchak Centofante, and was a life long area resident. She was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, and attended the Akron School of Court Reporting. She worked for the City of Girard as a Court Reporter for 12 years. Erica was a member of the St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers. She leaves her parents, her husband of 33 years, Harry A. Smith whom she married December 30, 1972, one daughter, Stefani (William) Smith-Kelly, of Struthers; one son, Gregory Smith of Struthers; four sisters, Cynthia (Jeff) White of New Bern NC., Paula (James) Kane of Poland, Mary (Bob) Ramsbottom of Poland, and Carla Davanzo of Poland, one brother, Stephan Centofante of Lowellville, three grandchildren, which were the joy of her life, Andrew, Abby and Samuel Kelly, 16 nieces and nephews, and Five special extended family members, Hector Garcia, Michael Davanzo, Salli Bevans, Emily Wetherill, and Chrissy Roddy. She is preceded in death by one brother, Mark Edward Centofante, her paternal grandparents, James & Flora Centofante, and maternal grandparents, John and Mary Dunchak. Family and friends will be received Monday from 5:30 âa�" 6:15 at the St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers, where a Memorial Mass will be held at 6:30 PM. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
