Columbiana - Emogene "Jeanie" Uselton, 86, of Columbiana, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Forum Health Northside Medical Center. She was born Friday, June 24, 1921 in Punxsuatwney, a daughter of Thomas and Barbara Noerr Smith. A 1939 graduate of Struthers High School, Mrs. Uselton had worked for Strouss for 23 years in the Traffic Department, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Bears Club and the Old Timers through the Aut Mori Grotto, where she volunteered for many years at the Circus. She also was a member of the Canfield AARP and a member of numerous card clubs and golf leagues. Mrs. Uselton was a member of the Faith Community Church. She so enjoyed her great-grandchildren and she will be deeply missed by them. Her husband, Olen E. Uselton, whom she married November 29, 1943, died July 22, 2003. She is survived by two daughters, Gail E. Constance of Columbiana and Linda J. (Richard) Fabian of Boardman; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Kevin) Clark of Columbiana, Renee (Adam) Arkright of Uniontown, Daniel (Amy) Fabian of Boardman, and Mark (Rebecca) Fabian of Springfield, MO; eight great-grandchildren, Logan and Ethan Clark, Megan and Ryan Arkright, Jordyn Fabian, Braedon, Joelle and Thalia Fabian. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Clifford and Russell Smith; three sisters, Nellie Measmer, LaRue Moyer and Martha Smith. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Marcy and Pastors Dan & Mark Fabian officiating. Interment will follow in the Lake Park Cemetery. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent at
