Youngstown - Emma Mae Pershing, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Emma was born November 13, 1930 in Poland, Ohio, specifically the Old Stone Tavern in which her family were the owners from 1902 to 1962, a daughter of the late Ross and Marguerite (Austin) Brothers.
She graduated from New Springfield High School and was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Connie (Charles) Hixon of Florida; two sons, Charles Pershing of Ohio and Clark Pershing of Florida; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Lea Virginia Pershing.
Per Emma's request, private services were held. There are no calling hours.
