Elizabeth âa�A"Bettyâa�A� J. Uehlinger Poland- Elizabeth âa�A"Bettyâa�A� J. Uehlinger,79, formerly of Youngstown, OH., died Sunday morning at St. Elizabethâa�a��s Hospital. Mrs. Uehlinger was born January 17, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert and Thelma Orr Davison. She moved to Stow, Ohio in 1977 and returned to the Youngstown area in 1984. Mrs. Uehlinger was a member of Brownlee Woods Presbytarian Church. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in January, 1944. She was a homemaker and a caregiver raising five children. While in Stow, Mrs. Uehlinger volunteered at Akron Childrenâa�a��s Hospital in the burn unit. She also loved playing golf and was a member of different golf leagues. She is survived by her husband, William H. Uehlinger Sr., whom she married on October 5, 1946; one daughter, Joan E. Coy of New Middletown, OH., three sons, William H. Uehlinger Jr. of Geneva, OH., Richard A. (Cathy) Uehlinger of Boardman, OH., and Robert V. Uehlinger of New Middletown, OH.; one brother, Vern Davison of Poland, OH., seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, one son, Ted L. Uehlinger; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Dama Uehlinger; one son-in-law, Jack R. Coy; one sister, Ruth Bradford; and one brother, Robert O. Davison preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church in Youngstown. Memorials may be made to the Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church Fund in lieu of floral arrangements. Arrangements are being made by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland.
