Elizabeth Jean Davies

Elizabeth Jean Davies, 74 Youngstown- Elizabeth Jean Davies, 74, of 25 Market Street, formerly of Lowellville, died Wednesday morning at her residence. Elizabeth was born August 4, 1930, in Lowellville, a daughter of Frederick and Ida Mae Lash Davies. She was raised in Lowellville and in the 1970âa�a��s moved to Youngstown. She was a 1948 graduate of Lowellville High School and received her teaching certificate from Youngstown College. She taught elementary school for the Lowellville School District and for five years, the Port Charlotte School District. She was a life member of the former Lowellville Presbyterian church. Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Frederick (Betty) Davies of Youngstown; one niece, Kimberly Dickey, and two nephews, Alan and Brian Davies. Funeral services will be Friday, 7:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville where friends may call Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
