Elizabeth M. âa�A"Libbyâa�A� Anderson âa�" 95 POLAND âa�" Elizabeth M. âa�A"Libbyâa�A� Anderson, 95 of 1916 Woodward Ave., died Sunday afternoon at Caprice Health Care Center. Mrs. Anderson was born in Braeburn, PA, a daughter of Burt and Emma Terry Coleman. She had lived in New Galilee, PA, Scandia, PA and then moved to Poland in the late 1980âa�a��s. She was a home maker, and was a member of the Poland United Methodist Church. While in high school, she was the State Champion in typing. She was a former member of the United Presbyterian Church in New Galilee, PA, where she served as an Elder, and the Director of Christian Education. She also was a member of the Beaver Butler Presbytery, where she was Chairman of Christian Education. Mrs. Anderson was a wonderful cook, an excellent seamstress, and was loved by everyone. Her husband Carl C. Anderson preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by three daughters, Carol (Martin) Matteson of Poland, Gayla (Dale) Paden of Aurora, Nora Lee (Alan) Johnson of Saegerstown, Pa, one son, John Randal âa�A"Randyâa�A� Anderson of Warren, PA, eight grandchildren, Martin Matteson, Barb Peluso, Emily Johnson, Alan Johnson, Dan Johnson, Shawn Anderson, David Anderson, and Matt Anderson, and sixteen great- grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by four brothers, and one sister. The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Care Hospice and especially Caprice Health Care and Dr. Taneja for their loving compassionate care. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 5-8 at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, and Thursday from 10:00 âa�" 10:45 at the Poland United Methodist Church, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am.
