Eleanor (Fecko) Osiniak

Struthers - Eleanor Osiniak, 79, of Struthers, passed away peacefully Friday morning, November 4, 2016 at Maplecrest Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation with her family at her side.
Eleanor was born February 5, 1937 in Youngstown, a daughter of Stephen and Anna Komara Fecko.
She was raised in Youngstown and graduated in 1955 from South High School. For over 25 years, Eleanor worked in the women's department for Kmart. Eleanor's hobbies included baking, cooking, and planting flowers. She especially enjoyed her family beach vacations and cruises. Eleanor was a member of Faith Community Covenant Church in Youngstown.
Eleanor leaves her husband, Robert Osiniak, whom she married April 22, 1957. They shared their life together for almost 60 years. Together they had four children, Robert (Kathy) Osiniak of Forest, VA, Randy (Andrea) Osiniak of Boardman, Ronald (Lisa) Osiniak of Campbell and Cheryl (Tim) Roddy of Struthers. Left to cherish her memories are her grandchildren, Tim and Allison Roddy, Kristen and Matthew Osiniak, Ryan Osiniak, and Carli Osiniak. She also leaves her sister, Carol Lee Fecko of Youngstown; sister-in-law, Pauline Farmer of Boardman; brother-in-law, Steve Garchar of Struthers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Knight, Anna Gurak, Betty Samolyk, and Dorothy Garchar; and two brothers, John Fecko and Steve Farmer.
A service celebrating Eleanor's life will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Faith Community Covenant Church with Rev. Michael Zabel officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
Friends will be received Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the church.
Eleanor's family extends a special thank you for the kindness and care given by the staff of Maplecrest Nursing Home and All Caring Hospice. They also appreciate the special prayers and support of her Faith Community Covenant Church family.
