Eleanor Catherine Olson

Eleanor Catherine Olson, 84 Boardman- Eleanor Catherine Olson, 84, formerly of Shirley Rd., died Sunday afternoon at Boardman Community Care. Mrs. Olson was born January 13, 1919 in McDonald, Ohio a daughter of Harry and Elizabeth Pierce Burnham. She was a life-long area resident. She was sales clerk for Century Grocery Store and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sales Clerk Association and AARP. Besides her husband Richard Olson whom she married December 14, 1937 she leaves two daughters, Sandra Symmon of Phoenix, Arizona and Gail Norris of Jacksonville, Florida; two sons, Larry Olson of Girard and Charles Olson of Youngstown; one sister, Florence Kish of Austintown; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Besides her parents one sister, Dorothy Austrino and four brothers, James Burnham, Richard Burnham, George Burnham and Leonard Burnham preceded her in death. There are no services. The family request memorial contributions go to the American Heart Association. Arrangement are by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
