Eleanor M. âa�A"Tootsâa�A� Lucido âa�" 78 LOWELLVILLE âa�" Eleanor M. âa�A"Tootsâa�A� Lucido, 78 of East Wood Street, died Friday, August 29, 2008 at her residence with her family at her side. Toots was born January 29, 1930 in Youngstown, a daughter of Chester and Eleanor Sloan Lagnese, and was a life long Lowellville Resident. She was a 1948 graduate of Lowellville High School, a member of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, where she was a former member of its Ladies Guild, a former member of the Mt. Carmel Society, the Lowellville Senior Citizens, and the Lowellville Boosters. Toots was known and loved for her delicious Italian cooking and baking, especially her fabulous pies. She was always full of energy and a caretaker to all. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James âa�A"Jimâa�A� Lucido whom she married August 4, 1951, one daughter, Cindy (Ron) Perry of Lowellville; two sons, David Lucido of Austintown and Dr. Jim (Carrie) Lucido of Alliance, and seven granddaughters, Ronda (Keith) LaMont, Danielle, Deanna, Amanda, Brittany, Jamie and Dana Lucido, and soon to be born great-granddaughter Isabella Marie LaMont. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two uncles, Frank and Mike Lagnese. Family and friends will be received Monday from 5-8 at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville, and Tuesday from 9:00 âa�" 9:45 am., where prayer services will be held at 10:00 am. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, with Rev. G. David Weikart officiating. Interment will follow at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
