Elaine M. Kesler Schall

Elaine M. Kesler Schall, 59 North Lima-Elaine M. Kesler Schall, 59, of Caprice Health Care, formerly of Boardman, died Wednesday evening after a long illness at the nursing home. Elaine was born October 28, 1946 in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Marie Russo Kesler. She was raised in Struthers before moving to Boardman. She was a 1966 graduate of Struthers High School and was a waitress for various restaurants including Isaly Dairy Store and Kings Restaurant. Elaine formerly attended the Free Methodist Church in Coitsville. Elaine enjoyed art and was known for her drawings of portraits with chalk. A very caring and giving person, Elaine would often sketch portraits of other patients during her frequent stays at the former Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital. Besides her mother of Struthers, she is survived by her husband Robert Schall, whom she married July 20, 1968; daughter Tammy J. (Eric) Horner of Edinburg, Pa.; son Robert James Roy Schall at home; sister Donna Townsend of Struthers; and three grandchildren, Russell, Joshua, and Alison Horner. Funeral services will be Monday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers where friends may call Sunday from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home.
