Eileen F. (Rhodes) Micheals

Poland - Eileen F. Micheals, 81, of Poland, died Monday afternoon, March 14, 2016 at her residence with her family at her side.

Eileen was born June 9, 1934 in Woodale, PA, a daughter of Sherrick and Geneva Wadsworth Rhodes.

Raised in Woodale, Eileen graduated from Ramsey High School in 1951. She worked at Mount Pleasant State Bank and West Penn Power Company prior to her marriage to her husband of 58 years, Harmon Micheals. In 1960 they came to Poland to make their home.

Eileen worked at The Dollar Bank on the Northside of Youngstown for three years. She was a member of the former Lamplight Chapter #582, Order of Eastern Star in Poland. While raising her children, Eileen was a Cub Scout leader, Council member for Jobs Daughters, member of the Poland PTA and the Poland Band Boosters.She was also a member of the Youngstown Model T Club. Eileen was an active member of the Poland United Methodist Church.

Eileen is survived by her husband, Harmon, whom she married November 9, 1957; one daughter, Janice Grich of Poland; one son, Jeff Micheals of St. Cloud, FL; one sister, Jean Mull of Mt. Pleasant, PA; one brother, Don Rhodes of Scottdale, PA; and five grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, and Timothy Grich, and Jacob and Donavin Micheals; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by three brothers, Ken, Dale, and Bob (Janet) Rhodes; and brother-in-law, Bob Mull.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home Poland, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Greenridge Cemetery in Connellsville, PA where a service will follow at 11:00 AM.
