Poland- Eileen Mae Brace, 69, of Poland, died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.
Mrs. Brace was born October 19, 1940 in Farrell, PA, a daughter of Harry and Mae Sullivan Davis.
She was a 1958 graduate of South High School and a wonderful homemaker. Eileen enjoyed family above all else and was a good friend to all. She spent much of her time doing for others and was a source of love and strength to so many. She will be forever missed by all who loved her. Eileen also enjoyed making crafts.
She leaves her husband, James Richard Brace, whom she married April 28, 1960; two daughters, Cheryl (Kevin) Williams of Struthers and Cathy (Daniel) Halatek of Poland; son, James Richard Brace, Jr. of Struthers; adoring grandmother to Meghan Eileen Williams, Kevin James Williams, Jacob Daniel Halatek, Leah Mae Halatek, and Michael Francis Hutch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann Craig.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
The family requests that flowers not be sent to the home. Any memorial tributes may be made in the form of contributions to Angels for Animals, where her grandson volunteers, 4750 W. South Range Rd., Canfield, Ohio 44406 or to the Potential Development Center School for Autism, where her granddaughter volunteers, 209 W. Woodland Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44502.
