Edward Michael Makosky II, 55, of Struthers, OH, died Saturday February 10, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH.
He was born September 28, 1962 in Youngstown, OH, son of Edward M and Sara (Wagner) Makosky and was a lifelong area resident.
Eddie attended Ursuline High School and was a 1981 graduate of East High School and spent a career installing fences. He had a passion for "Blues" music and had toured with Cleveland Fats, and had played with "Chasin The Blues". He was also a recorded artist on several published songs. He enjoyed cars shows and classic cars, photography and fishing. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
He was proud of his Slovak heritage and the fact he is survived by a large family including his three daughters, Jennifer Makosky of Lowellville, Jessica Makosky of Youngstown, and Dr. Brittany Makosky of Campbell; his twin brother, Joseph (Jodie) Makosky of Youngstown, two sisters, Gloria Baghurst of Boardman, and Michelle Losasso of Struthers; his former wife, Patty Makosky of Campbell as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Eddie was a devoted proud papa of Joshua Edward Makosky, Liam Makosky-Byrne, Emillia Robles, and Renee Makosky-Byrne.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Saturday February 17, 2018 at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman where friends may call from 4-5:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
