Edward R. Komara, Sr

Edward R. Komara, Sr., 82 Struthers- Edward R. Komara, Sr., 82, of Struthers, died Saturday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mr. Komara was born April 6, 1925 in Youngstown, a son of Florian and Katherine Baytosh Komara. He worked at Ajax Magnathermic for 18 years retiring in 1980. He was a World War II Army Veteran. In his spare time, Mr. Komara enjoyed selling used cars and was an avid sportsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. Besides his wife, the former Antoinette Rostier, whom he married November 24, 1949, he leaves one daughter Denise Komara of Struthers; one sister Catherine Pearce of Poland; and one brother, Donald (Ann) Komara of Youngstown; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides his parents Mr. Komara was preceded in death by one son, Edward R. Komara Jr.; two brothers Raymond Komara and Ralph Komara; and an infant sister Elaine Komara.
