Edward Joseph Bryer, 76 Lowellville- Edward Joseph Bryer, 76, of Lehigh Lane, passed away early Sunday morning at his residence. He will be sadly missed and remembered as a loving husband, father and devoted grandfather. Edward was born October 22, 1928 in Lowellville, a son of Steve and Veronica Malek Bryer. He was a lifelong area resident of Lowellville. A graduate of Union High School, Edward was an independent salesman for over 40 years retiring in 1990. Serving in the United States Army during World War II, Edward received both the Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal Japan Edward was a member and usher of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. He was a member of Lowellville Senior Citizen Club, enjoyed bowling, traveling, and was a handyman. Besides his wife, the former Angela Marie Dastoli, whom he married on October 17, 1953, Edward leaves four daughters, Kathleen (Richard) Olson, Pamela Talaganis, and Deborah (Mark) Carney all of Lowellville and Cynthia (William) Heck of Struthers; a son, Edward (Marie) Bryer of Lowellville; a sister, Frances Schmidt of Austintown; a brother, Lawrence (Eleanor) Bryer of Austintown; and thirteen grandchildren. Besides his parents, four sisters, Sally Jewesak, Cree Baker, Josephine Hendrick and Irene Bryer; four brothers Steve, Andrew, William and Walter Bryer; and a granddaughter preceded him in death. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Cunningham-Becker, Lowellville.
