Edith Mae Rowe

Edith M. Rowe, 71, died Sunday evening, February 25, 2024, at Hospice of the Valley's Hospice House. 

Edith was born August 15, 1952 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Robert and Rebah (Parker) Parke.

Edith was a graduate of Girard High School and was a dedicated homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In her leisure time, she enjoyed baking, playing board games and cards, reading, especially mysteries, and playing bocce in her younger years. 

Edith always made sure everyone was taken care of and served as a neighborhood mother to many of her children's friends growing up. Her generosity, caring nature, and her laughter will be missed.   

Edith leaves to carry on her memory, her children, Ian (Elizabeth) Rowe of Greenville, PA and Crissy McCormick of Girard, OH; sister, Sandra (Ralph) Kiker of Ohatchee, AL; grandchildren, Amber Slaven and Laird Bruner, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Abel, Ronnie, and Kendra.

In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her siblings, Perry Parke, Faye Bennett, and Maryann Lewis.

Per Edith's request, there will be no calling hours or service.
