Edith J. Harris

Edith J. Harris Poland- Edith J. Harris of 7266 Yellow Creek Dr. died Monday morning at her residence. Mrs. Harris was born in Youngstown March 12, 1923, a daughter of Phillip and Lillian Girardi Pezzuto. She was a life long area resident. She was a 1942 graduate of East High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Stephen of Hungry Church, where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society, Bereavement Committee, Silver and Gold Club, Remembrance Group, and the Parish Family Life. Her husband, Quentin Harris, whom she married January 16, 1942, died August 19, 1999. She leaves one daughter, Gerry Harris of Poland, one sister, Theresa Sandy of Poland; one brother, Michael (Betsy) Pezzuto of Cape Coral, FL; one grandson, Stephen Q. (Stacie) Zarbaugh of Poland; and one great-granddaughter, Laurel Quinn Zarbaugh. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alda Toth and Rose Magnetta; six brothers, Alfred, Albert, Frank, Phillip, Joseph, and Dominic Pezzuto; and one grandson, William F. Zarbaugh II. Funeral services will be Thursday 9:15 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:00 AM at Saint Stephen of Hungry Church.. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
