Edith Davanzo, 89 Lowellville- Edith Davanzo, 89, of Lowellville died Monday afternoon at Assumption Village. Mrs. Davanzo was born in Lowellville October 22, 1914, a daughter of Salvatore and Angeline Ciccone Alterio. She was a life long area resident of Lowellville.. She was owner and operator of Rigby Market with her husband, retiring in 1969. She was a member of Out Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. Her husband, Anthony Davanzo, whom she married, July 17, 1937, died December 13, 1981. She leaves two sons, Anthony (Mary) Davanzo and Daniel (Barbara) Davanzo both of Lowellville; one daughter Beverly(Steve) Tsikouris of Campbell; two sisters, Betty Ramunno and Violet (Nick) Bisconti both of Lowellville; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Albert Alterio; one sister, Minnie Ramunno; and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be Thursday 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 at the funeral home.
