Mrs. E. Elizabeth Pim Silver Mrs. E. Elizabeth Pim Silver of 1216 Fifth Ave., passed away on April 30, 2005 at her residence at Park Vista, 5901 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Elizabeth was born on October 18, 1903 in Alliance, Ohio. She was a daughter of Curtis and Mary Jane Swearingen Pim and moved to the Youngstown area in 1950. She attended Mt. Union College and was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. She married E. Ray Silver on November 1, 1924, who passed away on August 25, 1975. Elizabeth was an active member of the community and was involved in many interesting organizations. She was a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church, taught a Sunday School class, was a member of Church Circle #2, and the Fidelas Sunday School class. She was a member of the Poland Duplicate Bridge Club and the Progressive Art club. She and her husband were active travelers and have visited every state. Elizabeth was blessed with twin daughters, Mrs. Mary Lee Silver Barlow, who lives in Boardman with her husband Bob, and Mrs. Martha Jane Silver Hood, who resides in Woodsfield, Ohio with her husband Howard. She leaves five grandchildren, Kathy Malin Shook of Canfield, Ronald Malin of Newtown, Connecticut, Barbara Hood Andrick of Columbus, Ohio, Becki Hood Jack of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Beverly Hood Friend of Columbus, Ohio. She also leaves six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Two brothers, Gerald and Bernard Pim are deceased. Elizabeth was a beloved mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and blessed them with strong family values and love that continues to bless and sustain them. She will be missed and remembered with love by her family and all who knew her. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
