Dorothy Mae Pyatch -- 88 STRUTHERSâa�"Dorothy Mae Pyatch, 88, of Maplecrest Nursing Home, formerly of Canfield and St. Petersburg, Fl., died Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mrs. Pyatch was born in Struthers, on October 3, 1918, a daughter of George and Callie Long. She was a 1937 graduate of Struthers High School, a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers, and a member of the Nurses Association She was a medical assistant for many years, working with Dr. Dullick and Dr. Mersol. Her husband Walter R. Pyatch, whom she married February of 1939, died February 26, 1999. She leaves two grandchildren, Amy Green of Texas, Eric Land of Cleveland, and one nephew, Frank Long of Maryland. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Land, one infant grandson, David Land, and one brother, Frank Long. There will be no calling hours or service.
