North Lima - Dorothy Norton, 87, of North Lima, died Wednesday morning at Assumption Village.
Dorothy was born April 9, 1922 in Youngstown, a daughter of Roy and Josephine Schilling Norton. She was a life-long area resident.
She was a graduate of Ursuline High School and worked as a secretary for Truscon Steel and then for the United Steel Workers Union where she retired.
She leaves one niece, Marianne of CA.; one nephew, Michael (Theresa) Norton of Girard; and her dear friend, Fr. James O'Brien of Boardman.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by one brother, Roy F. Norton; two sisters, Norma and Loretta Norton; and one nephew, Roy Norton, Jr.
Services will be held Monday, 5:30 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Boardman with Fr. Joseph Fata officiating. Interment will follow Tuesday at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
Friends will be received Monday from 4:30 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. at the church.
