Dorothy May McClelland, 88

Boardman: Dorothy May McClelland, 88, passed away Saturday morning, July 13, 2019 Mercy Health at St. Elizabeth Boardman.

Dorothy was born January 13, 1931 in Struthers, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Jewell) Wietelmann.

She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and was a lifelong area resident.

Dorothy worked for Dr. Oscar Turner in Youngstown as a office manager for 20 years. She worked for James and Sons Insurance as a bookkeeper for several years and continue to do bookkeeping for several companies in the area before retiring in 2004.

She was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church and a member of theYoungstown Symphony Chorus.

Dorothy is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, John F. Wietelmann; three sisters , Eleanor Schmidt, Ruth A. Smith, and Florence A. Sopko.
