POLAND - Dorothy B. Maze, 89, died Dec. 18, 2013, at Salem Community Hospital.
Mrs.Maze was born May 13, 1924, in Bradford, England, a daughter of Harry and Florence Lockwood Bond.
Dorothy moved to the United States when she was two years old and then to Struthers. She moved around to various places over the years, having eventually settling in Poland.
She was a 1942 Struthers High School graduate and was Engineering Supervisor for Ohio Bell for 15 years, retiring in 1959. She also was a real estate agent in Florida for many years. Dorothy was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers.
Her husband, Ralph F. Maze, whom she married Aug. 14, 1953, died March 7, 2007.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Maze of Plano, Texas; one son, Douglas Maze of Poland; and a granddaughter, Amber Maze.
Besides her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Koloff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers. Friends and family will be received Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland Chapel and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
