North Lima - Dorothy M. Fuentes, 80, formerly of Youngstown and Campbell, died early Wednesday morning, September 23, 2015 at Caprice Health Center.
Dorothy was born November 18, 1934 in Ford City, PA, a daughter of James and Mary Doms Delaney. She came to this area in the 1950's.
Dorothy worked for Cubbison Manufacturing in Austintown for over 30 years, where she worked as a plaque engraver.
In her free time, Dorothy enjoyed reading, often finishing a book in one day. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicky (Raymond) Mercado of Youngstown; two sons, John (Wendy) Fuentes of Lompoc, CA and Anthony (Cindy) Fuentes of Brighton, MI; seven grandchildren, Emmanuel (Heather) Santiago, Mandy Fuentes, Toni Fuentes, Dana Mercado, Matthew (Hannah) Fuentes, Tyler (Shelby) Fuentes, and Taylor Fuentes; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers, John, James, and Ralph Delaney; one sister, Leona Delaney; and two grandchildren, Sherry and Bridget Fuentes.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where family and friends will be received from 9:30-10:15 a.m., prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
