Dorothy G. âa�A"Dotâa�A� Frost, 81 Boardman- Dorothy G. Frost, 81, of Ron Joy Nursing Home, formerly of Creed Street in Struthers, died Monday evening at the nursing home. Mrs. Frost, also known as Dot, was born December 27, 1922 in Girard, a daughter of Anthony and Maetta Nelson Mollica. She was raised in Fayette County, Pennsylvania and came to Struthers in 1956. She was a 1941 graduate of Dunbar Township High School in Pennsylvania. For over 20 years she owned and operated the former Modern Wine Shop in Struthers, retiring in 1984. Mrs. Frost enjoyed various activities including playing cards and bingo. In her free time she also enjoyed doing various kinds of needlework and reading. Her husband, Carl G. Frost, whom she married May 25, 1945, died June 26, 1966. She leaves a daughter, Jacquelyn (James) Argiro of Struthers; a son Carl N. Frost of Boardman; five grandchildren, Amy Argiro, Lisa Argiro-Hetric, Kirsten Frost, Kyra Frost, Colin Frost and four great-grandchildren, Michael Hetric, Aaron Hetric, Bradley Rice and Jacob Frost. Her parents, husband, and a brother, Charles Nelson, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday, 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
